CSR at 't Lennepserf: Leaving the world a more beautiful place

At 't Lennepserf, we believe that business goes beyond making a profit.         We are building a place where people, nature and community come together. 

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is in our DNA. Not because we have to, but because it feels good.

We view CSR as a process that is never finished. Every day we ask ourselves: how can we do even better? Small steps together make a big difference.

How we empower CSR?

We are careful with energy and water

• All lighting in our ecolodges and main building is LED. And the outdoor lighting works energy-efficiently with timers.

• With simple anti-traffic measures, such as door closers, we keep energy losses to a minimum.

• We ask our guests to lend a hand from time to time: turn off air conditioners, close doors and use water in a conscious manner.

Honest food and drink

• We work with local caterers who choose sustainable, seasonal produce. This not only tastes better, but is also better for the world.

 

Less waste means a cleaner world

• We separate waste as much as possible: paper, glass, plastic, and kitchen waste get their own containers. Kitchen waste is even composted.

• When cleaning, we use microfiber wipes, dispensers and dispensing systems. This way, we use fewer cleaning products and avoid waste.

We take care of each other

• Our employees deserve a healthy, safe, and pleasant workplace. We commit to this every day.

• We share our knowledge and help each other grow, so we can make the world a little more beautiful together.

Doing more with less impact

• We look beyond the financial impact of our work. We also take social and environmental impacts into consideration.

• When purchasing, we choose products with sustainable or social labels whenever possible.

For the community

• We do our part for local community initiatives. Whether through sponsorship, volunteerism, or donations.
